Amelia Moore, also known as Ameliaismore, is a proud second-generation Cape Verdean and recipient of the President’s Lifetime Achievement Award. A dynamic entrepreneur, author, actor, educator, TV host, journalist, consultant, and former record executive, she boasts over 25 years of experience in entertainment, from running record labels to producing podcasts and TV shows.
As the SheEO of Buzz Builder BMC, Amelia helps clients amplify their presence, guided by her mantra: “If you’re the best and no one knows, what are you?” She recently authored SheEO vs CEO, a handbook promoting gender unity and effective communication in corporate America.
Her storytelling passion fuels her journalism, with contributions to Floss Magazine, UBCTV, and Bronze Magazine, where she began as a featured subject and later graced their 5th-anniversary cover. Amelia’s TV show Different Views One Voice and podcast Sipping Something Sexy showcase diverse perspectives, while her latest project, Hip Hop Tour, airs on major platforms like Roku and Amazon Prime.
Amelia’s advocacy extends to education, child empowerment, and women’s rights. Her impactful work has earned awards such as the Schneps Media Powerful Women in Business Award and recognition from NYC Mayor Eric Adams and Congressional Member Grace Meng. Notably, she supported a South Bronx step team that stopped gun violence for 276 days, expanding their mission globally.
